FAILURE

How do you react when you fail? Is it something like :

> do not despair

> elevate yourself from bad temper, frustration and self shaming

> hit the pedal, accelerate and cruise again

If you do this congratulate yourself. You are a living example of resilience.

Please consider using the comment section to share with the readers how you do this.

FEAR

Are you worried? Have you got serious preoccupations? How do you think to handle them?

> Paying an assurance?

> Turning a blind eye?

> Practive posititve thinking and assuming things will finally be ok?

> Taking medecine to calm your nerves?

Did you ask yourself how other people manage fear? Some say "Prepare for the worst and hope for the best".

Sounds not bad at all, doesn't it?

Some businesses only sell environmentally friendly products or products made in facilitites for handicapped people. Running your business according to your valures is a great opportunity to being true to yourself and to give testimony of what you stand for.

FIGHT THE HEAT

FIGHT THE HEAT

High temeratures, excessive heat, are detrimental to performance and intellectual vigilance.

It is possible to raise heat resistance by training your body or to get a slimmer body.

It is possible to reduce heat by ventilating in the late night and early morning hours and to shut the rooms in the hot afternoon hours till sunset.

If you can manage your business and office this way, make some publicity that you respect the environment.

In extreme cases however, all this will be insufficient and you have to turn to air conditioning.

Do your clients trust you?

Generally people are convinced that the only thing garage dealers are interested in is their profit margin. Therefore they mistrust garage dealers. How would the situation be if garage dealers partnered with their clients and committed to travel security? If they gave a free of charge lesson by an expert instead of a price reduction?

Whatever your business is: trust is fostered by a shared goal with your clients. Find it and walk and talk and the results will find their way to you.

ASAP, really? Did you already try DTNPT?.

Posted on June 6, 2022 at 1:00 AM Comments comments (0)

ASAP, the acronym for "as fast as possible" , is a bliss word in the office environment. It is a word made for our culture of speed and effiiciency. As always when ideas are applied in a dogmatic way without consideration, problems arise. Things done with precipitation cause quality and reputation issues.

If you encounter a case where ASAP is not the right option, you might consider the concept  DTNPT "Do the next possible thing now" to assure you use your precious time productively. This is also a powerful tool to prevent procrastination as you act instead of waiting.

DISLIKE IS NOT THE QUESTION

DISLIKE IS NOT THE QUESTION

Liking some customers and disliking others is human. There is no reason to worry about that. However, you have to be worried about not letting them know. If you show your primary emotions to your customers, the ones you like might sense that you are only interested in their money. The ones you dislike might sense that you despise them. Neither is good for business. Manage to always bring the best version of yourself to work. As the Chinese saying states: the day you cannot smile, keep your shop closed.
