There are moments when life is pushing you to quit:

 Your emotions as you are fed up with putting in the effort without harvesting a reward.

 Loss of hope.

 The credo of life coaches telling you that continuing doing the same thing will yield the same result.


Before you quit consider the following:

 You might do the “right thing” but not at the right time or right location.

 You might do the “right thing”, but something is missing, something has to be added.

 You might do the “right thing”, but something does not fit in, something has to be subtracted.

 You might do the “right thing”, but you do it alone and not with partners.


When your conclusion is to quit, quit when you know what else you will do instead.

What a great feeling to be on the road again cruising forward after a period of stagnation.

Spare your customer the frightening and worrying about stagnation and forced inactivity. Be transparent about your services and products and share your failure rate and compare it to the benchmark of your industry. 

Offer a 24/24/7 customer service including back up solutions for your customer. Make frequent publicity about the reliability of your company and the back up solutions you offer. Yours customers might value this feeling of security even more than your products.

If your lowest delivery capacity is equal or higher to  your peak demand, then you have and will never have delivery problems. To avoid delivery problems your mean delivery capacity must at least equal your mean demand. For times when your demand is higher than your delivery capacity you may do one of the following:

> supply froom previously build inventory

> get help (using someone else's capacity)

> compensate late output by faster delivery
