ASAP, the acronym for "as fast as possible" , is a bliss word in the office environment. It is a word made for our culture of speed and effiiciency. As always when ideas are applied in a dogmatic way without consideration, problems arise. Things done with precipitation cause quality and reputation issues. 

If you encounter a case where ASAP is not the right option, you might consider the concept  DTNPT "Do the next possible thing now" to assure you use your precious time productively. This is also a powerful tool to prevent procrastination as you act instead of waiting.

Liking some customers and disliking others is human. There is no reason to worry about that. However, you have to be worried about not letting them know. If you show your primary emotions to your customers, the ones you like might sense that you are only interested in their money. The ones you dislike might sense that you despise them. Neither is good for business. Manage to always bring the best version of yourself to work. As the Chinese saying states: the day you cannot smile, keep your shop closed.

Liberty is mostly understood as the dream to be able do what one wants to do anytime one wants to do it. Acting according to this definition breeds desaster. 

To sustain a business, a better understanding of liberty is to define it as the mental and financial agility to create and to deliver the goods and services for the constantly changing needs and wants of the clients.

Are you resilient, is your business resilient? You will not know for sure before the unexpected happens or before happens what you worry about. But you can estimate your resilience by asking a series of "what if ?" questions. Try it. It is worth the effort.

You might profit from gardening. It is good for health. It gives business insights. 

Sawing: the seeds have to match the soil; in business the offer has to match the customer

Growing: nutrients and water has to be provided and weeds have to be torn out; in business after sales efforts imply continous product development, client contacts and out performing the competitors

Harvesting: you harvest happily after having invested so much time and mones; you are proud to have returning customers after so much effort

Some countries just dropped Covid restrictions established 2 years ago. 

Were you ready for this moment? ..... or the moment other restrictions or obstacles on your road disappeared?

Were your ready and prepared? ..... or had you just been a sniveller for a much too long time neglecting the 

preparation for the good day to come? .... the day of opportunity and liberty!

If your answer is not to your liking, you might profit from asking why you behaved as you did and what you could do differently in the future to get a more satisfying outcome

The older people get the more their real interests are limited to food and social contacts. Young people enter a shop to shop, old ones to chat. If possible orient your markeing efforts to the people who accompany the old, to their children and care givers.

When you are relaxed, your clients will relax too. They will spend more time with you and spend more money. Much more money! When you are with a client, stay in the moment, chill out and enjoy being with your customer. When you are easygoing and enjoying something, you are naturally relaxed.
